CARCU

The China Association of Resource Comprehensive Utilization (CARCU) was established in 1995 with the approval of China's Ministry of Commerce. CARCU is a national association for industries involved in the comprehensive utilization of resource. It is administrated by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission,

CARCU currently has over 1000 members from regulatory authorities, scientific research institutes, enterprises to experts specialized in the areas of comprehensive resource utilization, environmental protection and energy conservation nationwide.

The mission of CARCU is to promote the efficiency of resource utilization, conserve energy, protect the environment, harmonize economic, environmental and social benefits, and push forward the sustainable social and economic development of China. Meanwhile, it is dedicated to delivering comprehensive services to the relevant government agencies and its members by way of extensive policy research, consultancy service, technical promotion, market development, professional training, conference and exhibition as well as international exchange and cooperation.
